Somerfield 5 bar Gate for Driveways and Fields

£126.67
Tax included.

The Somerfield manufactured by Charltons Gates, one of the UK’s leading gate manufacturers, is our best-selling 5-bar gate. It is a traditional diamond-braced gate manufactured from treated timber for longevity. It is suitable for most entrances, including house or business driveways, fields with cattle or sheep, and equestrian sand schools.

The Somerfield 5 bar gate is robust, with a tapered top rail and a larger hanging stile for added strength. It has a planed finish and is assembled with stainless steel bolts.

These gates are left or right-handed. The hand of the gate is determined by looking at the front or good side of the gate, and then which side of the gate the hinges will be, is the hand. If you are unsure, please ask our Sales Team for assistance.

Recommended Aftercare

For gates purchased from Crestala but manufactured by Charltons Gates, please read their wood care instructions at https://charltonsgates.com/care-instructions-for-new-gates/

All wooden gates are susceptible to natural movement or shaking (cracks in the timber) as the wood expands and contracts during the normal weathering process. This is not considered to be a defect unless it is very severe. We do not recommend using dark stains as they attract heat which may cause additional movement in the timber.
