This adjustable hanging set is suitable for 75mm (3") wooden field gates hung on wooden posts.

There are three sizes to suit gates widths from 900mm (3') to 4.3m (14') gates.

This set can be used for hanging gates either between or behind the posts.

Installation Tips
  • You will need a 19mm auger to drill a hole through the post for the hook to bolt and the gate hanging stile for the bottom adjustable ride.
  • To drill the holes for the top strap fixing bolts through the top bar, a 10 mm drill bit at least 100mm long is required.
  • A selection of spanners/adjustable wrenches. As the nut and bolt sizes can vary, please check the spanner and drill sizes required when you receive your set.
  • To make it harder for your gates to be stolen, it is normal practice to reverse one of the pins that the top and bottom rides fit onto. This means that the gate(s) cannot just be lifted off the hinge pins and removed. It does not matter which; we recommend reversing the top pin so that the pins are facing each other as this looks neater.
  • All holes must be correctly positioned and drilled. Check carefully before drilling.
  • Gates cannot usually be returned once drilled or marked in any way.
