All Forcombe Gates are Made to Order and our Standard sizes are priced, but we can make special sizes of this popular concave top and tongue-and-groove entrance gate. Please see the Made to Measure Sizes section below.

The maximum width for a pair is 3.6m.
The minimum width for a pair is 1.8m.

Materials:

All Fordcombe entrance gates manufactured by Crestala are made to be robust yet offer excellent value for money. The timber used is pressure-treated, joinery-grade, slow-growing Scandinavian redwood. The treatment provides good protection against rot and insect attack.

We recommend that our Fordcombe gates be hung using adjustable hooks and rides. This will make fitting easier and enable the gates to be adjusted easily throughout their life, so they will always look their best.

For security, we recommend using a keyed long-throw gate lock.

All Fordcombe gates must be stored, treated and cared for properly before and after hanging. Please, read the recommendations on our "Crestala Gate Care Information" sheet for more detailed instructions.

We stock Gate fittings for all sizes of our tongue and groove Fordcombe entrance gates. We recommend fitting adjustable hinges to alleviate seasonal gate movement.

Oil hinges, bolts, and locks regularly.
