Our mortised 100 x 100mm is the standard-sized post for closeboard and palisade fencing.
We can also offer the more robust, larger section 125 x 100mm mortised posts.
To improve the look of your posts, we have a range of decorative post-top weathers and router options.

While we hold some variations of the 10cm x 10cm mortised posts in stock, most posts are explicitly mortised to match each order. Lead times may vary, but they are usually only a few days. However, during very busy periods, this may be extended several more days. If time is essential, please contact our Sales Team before ordering.

What length of mortised post do I need?

The post length required for closeboard and palisade fencing depends on several factors. The main ones are:
1/ Overall height of the fence.
2/ Post top required.
3/ground- firm or soft.
4/ Fenceline – flat or on a slope.
5/ Type of fence – closeboard, palisade etc.
