How to Use

Draw lines between the opposite corners of the post cap. Where they cross in the centre, drill a small pilot hole (3 to 5mm) through the post cap. Mark the centre of the post using the same technique as used for the post cap. Attach the post cap to the top of your post using an exterior woodscrew over 50mm long.

To fix a ball or acorn, drill the post cap as above. Screw through the bottom of the post cap into whichever finial you are using. Next, drill two pilot holes close to (but not too close) the finial edge, down through the post cap at a slight angle towards the centre. Using exterior woodscrews, attach the post cap to the top of your post
