A Ring Latch is an easy-to-operate gate catch suitable for gates of all heights in standard and heavy frames. The latch can be opened from both sides of the gate.

The 12.7cm (5") ring latch set is better for single standard frame gates.

The 15.2cm (6") ring latch set is better for heavy frame gates and pairs of standard or heavy frame gates.

How to Use

This latch type must be fitted onto a horizontal rail. On lower gates, this is always the top rail. Alternatively, for gates under 1.05m, you may find it easier to fit an auto-catch instead.
Usually, the middle rail is used to mount the ring latch on taller gates.

There are many good videos of fitting a ring latch to both single and pairs of gates on YouTube. Before fitting your latch kit, it is worth spending 10 minutes or so watching one.
