The versatile DuraPost is made from a single piece of sheet steel; cold rolled to form a very strong "H" section. The big pluses are that DuraPost is up to 80% lighter than the equivalent concrete posts and will not rot as wooden posts do. The post is pre-drilled with fixing holes before being galvanised to give a 15-year manufacturer's guarantee**. For those not keen on a galvanised finish and for even longer life (and a 25-year manufacturer's guarantee**), the posts are further treated with an Olive grey coating which blends in very well with the green pressure-treated timber used for fencing. Metal DuraPosts have been tested to withstand 100mph winds to prove their strength. Pre-drilled holes make fixing easy.
