Square Softwood posts are ideal for use as Fencing, Gate or Deck Supports. Our large stocks of sawn softwood posts are treated using the latest generation preservatives to the UC4 standard, which the treatment companies say should provide an anticipated lifespan of 15 years. If you can, we do recommend adding an extra treatment to any timber that is in contact with the ground particularly from 100mm (4") above ground level to 450mm (18") below ground level.

- Softwood posts all have square ends (flat) as standard, except Gate Posts (150 mm, 175mm, and 200mm), which are four-way weathered (pyramid top) on one end as standard.
- Edge chamfering and router lines can be added if desired to softwood posts.
- Protect the top of your post with a Metal post cap or a standard Wooden post cap.
